On-device camera recognition
SUMCAM uses camera access only to recognize printed numbers that you choose to add. Camera frames are processed on your device using Apple Vision. The app does not record, save, upload, or send those frames to the developer.
Information stored on your device
SUMCAM stores your active tally, saved sessions, entered numbers, timestamps, session names, optional unit labels, and preferences in the app’s local storage. The developer does not receive this information. No account, advertising, tracking, or analytics service is included in the app.
Sharing and backups
Copy, Share, and Export act only when you choose them. They can place numbers on your clipboard or send a tally, CSV, or PDF to a destination you select. Your chosen app or service handles that copy under its own policies. Local app data may be included in Apple device backups according to your settings; the developer cannot access those backups.
Retention and deletion
Local sessions remain until you remove their entries, delete saved sessions in History, or delete the app and its data. Offloading the app may retain its data. Copies you exported and any device backups must be managed separately at their destinations. There is no developer-held tally database to delete.
Camera permission
You can revoke camera access in your device’s Settings. Manual number entry remains available without camera permission.
Support and this website
If you email support, your email provider and ours process your email, and the developer uses the information you send to respond. Include only what is needed to explain the problem; do not send private labels or full tallies unnecessarily. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. You can request deletion by email.
This support website has no analytics, advertising, accounts, or contact form. Its hosting providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and server logs, to serve and protect the site. This website is separate from the SUMCAM app’s on-device data processing.
Children and changes
The app does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If the app’s data practices change, this page will be updated with the effective date.
